Product Description

The Mini UAV Video Data Link is engineered for complex aerial operations requiring stable, high-bandwidth, and secure communication. Designed specifically for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), this system leverages advanced Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) technology to ensure continuous, self-healing connectivity in highly dynamic environments. A standout characteristic of this system is its high receiving sensitivity of -100dBm. This sensitivity allows the receiver to pick up extremely faint signals, significantly extending the reliable communication range and maintaining stable video and data transmission even in areas with severe signal attenuation or physical obstructions. Coupled with selectable channel bandwidths of 2.5MHz, 5.0MHz, 10.0MHz, and 20.0MHz, operators can finely tune the balance between transmission range and data throughput based on specific mission profiles. This makes it an ideal choice for industrial inspections, border patrol, security surveillance, and emergency response missions where reliable, long-range data links are critical for operational success.

Advanced MANET Architecture & Scalability

At the core of this data link is its powerful decentralized network capability. Unlike traditional point-to-point communication systems that rely on a central hub, the MANET architecture allows multiple units-including drones, ground vehicles, and command centers-to communicate continuously. The nodes automatically route data through the most efficient paths, instantly reconfiguring the network topology if a node drops out or moves out of range. This self-forming and self-healing capability is crucial for UAV swarms. Depending on the scale of your deployment, the system offers highly flexible node configurations, supporting 2, 4, 8, 32, 64, 128, or up to 256 nodes. This scalability ensures that whether you are operating a localized two-drone setup or a massive, coordinated multi-domain fleet, the network adapts dynamically to maintain full operational awareness without single points of failure.

High-Speed, Secure, and Transparent Transmission

For professional UAV applications, data security and throughput are non-negotiable. This video data link provides selectable data rates of 48Mbps, 56Mbps, or 112Mbps, accommodating everything from basic telemetry and command signals to multiple high-definition, real-time video streams. To protect sensitive operational information from interception or unauthorized access, it incorporates AES128 or AES256 encryption protocols as optional upgrades. This level of security is essential for defense, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure monitoring. Furthermore, the system supports full transparent IP data transmission. This means it functions as a direct wireless Ethernet extension, allowing it to easily integrate with existing IP-based cameras, LiDAR sensors, and ground control stations without requiring complex protocol conversions, thereby significantly reducing deployment time and integration risks for project engineers.

Flexible Frequency & Precision Positioning

Operating environments often dictate specific frequency requirements to avoid local interference or comply with regional spectrum regulations. The standard operating frequency of 1300-1500MHz provides an optimal balance of long-range propagation and obstacle penetration. For specialized project requirements, the frequency can be customized across a wide spectrum from 70MHz up to 6GHz. To support accurate tracking and spatial awareness, the data link fully supports multi-constellation positioning systems, including GPS, BD (BeiDou), and GLONASS. Managing this complex network is simplified through an intuitive interface. The equipment supports Web management, allowing operators to monitor network health and configure nodes directly from a standard web browser. For system integrators looking to embed this data link into proprietary command platforms, the API is available for further development, ensuring long-term adaptability for evolving UAV projects.
